Robinson Pittsburgh Elevation Medical Weight Loss is now OPEN!

We had a very productive 2022 and it ended with a blast at our Elevation Medical team Christmas party. It was definitely one of the best parties we have had the pleasure of hosting and we all had so much fun coming together as one team from all 6 offices across the 2 states, celebrating the year, as well as the festivities of the season. We can’t thank our patients enough for their support and for their encouraging weight loss stories since we opened back in June 2016! These stories are why we do what we do and we love being with you every step of the way! In that spirit, we wanted to announce that as of Monday, February 27, 2023, our 7th Elevation Medical Weight Loss office is open in Robinson! It’s adjacent to the Dental Spa/UPMC Urgent Care and in the same plaza as Golf Galaxy.  This year, we strive to make it our best year yet now that we have significantly more available appointments for more convenient booking for patients. We want to be readily available and conveniently accessible for as many people as possible to help them be the healthiest they can be!

Our new office, Elevation Medical Weight Loss Robinson is located at 6504 Steubenville Pike Pittsburgh, PA 15205 in Robinson Court. Come see us in Robinson today to start your weight loss journey!

Our other 6 other locations will continue operating as normal: Green Tree, North Hills, South Hills, Monroeville in Pennsylvania, and Weirton and Morgantown in West Virginia.

Semaglutide (the active ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy) Once Weekly Weight Loss Injection Now Available!

Elevation Medical is implementing a new program in our weight loss facilities. We will be offering semaglutide, the active ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy.  Wegovy is the brand name drug that is FDA-approved for once-weekly subcutaneous (under the skin) weight loss injection.  Semaglutide is also known as Wegovy or Ozempic by its brand name.

Semaglutide has been around for many years to help diabetic patients control their blood sugar levels. This injection was also found to reduce weight.  Since diabetic patients started losing weight on semaglutide, it was studied to be used as a weight-loss injectable medication. Since June 2021, semaglutide under the brand name Wegovy was FDA approved for long-term weight loss.

Semaglutide is 94% similar to natural human glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1), which decreases blood sugar levels in a glucose-dependent manner by enhancing the secretion of insulin. GLP-1 acts as a physiological regulator of appetite and thereby reducing food intake by reducing feelings of hunger and increasing feelings of fullness/satiety.

Patients can choose to receive semaglutide for only 1 week as a trial for $90. Please be advised that semaglutide is dose-dependent upon the duration of use; meaning the longer you use it, the higher your dose will be and up to 2.4mg/week.

Semaglutide Peptide Diet Shots Service Fees

  • 0.25 mg (7 days) $90

1 week of semaglutide 0.25 mg  FDA-approved peptide diet shot

Patients who have a history or diagnosis of medullary thyroid cancer or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN II) are not eligible to receive semaglutide.

Semaglutide can be used in conjunction with HCG, phentermine, and or sermorelin for the best results.
