Elevation cares is something we established last year.
The goal of our first year was to give two local, non-profit charitable causes. We pledged that if our patients would leave a review on our social networks, or Google, we would donate $3 per feedback. Our patients came through for us. We were able to contribute to Weirton’s “Shop with a Cop” and the Brooke County Animal Shelter last year.
Our second year was not a disappointment. This year we extended our program, and donations were made to the following four charities. We couldn’t be more proud.
WEIRTON COMMUNITY BREAD BASKET
The Community Bread Basket provides utility assistance, rent assistance, Food Pantry, Gabriel Room, Information Referral to the needy of Brooke and Hancock Counties in West Virginia. They are a wonderful charity that provides food to many families in the area.

Merlin’s Safe Haven Cat Rescue
Merlin’s Safe Haven Cat Rescue has been established to provide for the rescue, care, and placement of cats that have been abandoned, neglected, abused or which cannot be kept by their previous owner(s). Cats adopted through Merlin’s Safe Haven Cat Rescue are placed exclusively as indoor family pets. All cats are altered and vaccinated prior to adoption. All cats are currently kept in foster homes; therefore, Merlin’s Safe Haven Cat Rescue feels more knowledgeable about the cat and can help a prospective adopting family make the best decision adding a new family member for themselves as well as the cat.

Make a Wish/ PA and WV
The Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia chapter has grown steadily with the help of caring people who volunteer their time and support. Thirteen wishes were fulfilled in the first year. Now, 36-years later, more than 19,000 wishes have been completed. At any given time, there are between 300 and 450 wishes pending. They are the first chapter in the world to fulfill more than 700 wishes in one year.

Annual Memorial Coat Drive for Adam Morris
There is an annual coat drive in memory or Adam Morris, a young man who unexpectedly passed away in a car accident. His family is keeping his memory alive by collecting coats, hats, and scarves for children in his honor.

We feel honored to be able to participate in these charities, and we urge you to click on the links and donate if you feel moved to do so. They are wonderful charities and would benefit from anything you could give.
We will continue to give to our Elevation Cares charities and are excited to see what next year brings.
