Kierstin PA-C
Kierstin was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She graduated from Norwin High School in 2015 with an interest in science and medicine. She attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown for her undergraduate degree graduating with her Bachelor’s in Biology and a minor in Creative Writing in 2019.
A few months after graduation Kierstin started at Slippery Rock University in the graduate program for Physician Assistant studies where she graduated in 2021 with a Masters degree in Science. During her medical rotations, Kierstin gravitated toward outpatient settings allowing a more intimate one one-on-one connection with patients. She began working for Elevation Medical Weight Loss in late 2021 and it has been the perfect fit. She loves her patients and enjoys helping them achieve their weight loss goals. It is very rewarding for her to see her patients excel and start to feel more comfortable and confident in their own skin.
Kierstin has always felt that in life you should be able to pursue multiple passions. She has had a love for beauty and makeup since high school. She attended the QC Academy’s Makeup Mastery program online in late 2021 and completed this program in 2022, obtaining her license in makeup artistry. Since graduating she has created her own freelance makeup business called Kierstin’s Cosmetics where she does weddings and special event makeup.
