At Elevation Medical Weight Loss, we offer GLP-1–based treatment options as part of a comprehensive, medically supervised weight loss program.
Important Information About Your Medication
Some patients may be prescribed a compounded GLP-1 medication. Compounded medications are custom-prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy to meet an individual patient’s specific medical needs.
- Compounded medications are not FDA-approved
- They are prepared when commercially available FDA-approved options are not appropriate, accessible, or available for the patient
- All compounded medications are sourced from licensed, regulated compounding pharmacies
Your provider will discuss your treatment plan with you, including whether a compounded or FDA-approved medication is most appropriate for your individual situation.
Our Commitment to Safety and Transparency
- All treatment decisions are made based on medical necessity and patient-specific factors
- Providers will review risks, benefits, and alternatives with you prior to starting therapy
- You will receive clear instructions for safe use and administration
If you have any questions about your medication, please speak with your provider at any time.
