Becky is an experienced physician assistant with a strong background in emergency medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, surgery and inpatient/outpatient care. Earlier in her career she developed a specialized pregnancy program for young adults to help them have healthy pregnancies, stay in school, educate them with parenting skills, breastfeeding and birth control. She assisted three hospitals in the implementation of the EPIC based software EMR. She has served on multiple committees for patient safety and compliance, HIPPA regulations, and process improvements.
She followed in the path of her mentor to care for women with disabilities who were unable to receive needed care.
This disability clinic allowed women from neighboring cities to have a clinician care for them in areas of gynecology, internal medicine, dental exams and eye exams.
Becky was able to develop a strong rapport with all of her patients which made her job rewarding and gratifying.
In April of 2023, she was offered an amazing opportunity to work for Elevation Medical Weight Loss Clinic.
This endeavor would allow her to return to the Pittsburgh area where her family resides as well as to work in a field where she has experienced the personal difficulty in losing weight. She knows and understands the struggles with weight loss, and has a desire to help those who are experiencing the ups and downs of losing weight.
This job is very fulfilling and rewarding for her as she works with patients in achieving their weight loss goals, promoting healthy lifestyles and bringing positive changes into their lives. Becky is a proud mother of a daughter who is now applying to law school, and a mom to an adorable Havanese, Sofia.
Her interests are in exercise, baking, especially brownies for others, horseback riding, boating and visiting her friends in upstate New York.
