Elevation Medical is implementing a new program in our weight loss facilities. We will be offering semaglutide, the active ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy. Wegovy is the brand name drug that is FDA-approved for once-weekly subcutaneous (under the skin) weight loss injection. Semaglutide is also known as Wegovy or Ozempic by its brand name.
Semaglutide has been around for many years to help diabetic patients control their blood sugar levels. This injection was also found to reduce weight. Since diabetic patients started losing weight on semaglutide, it was studied to be used as a weight-loss injectable medication. Since June 2021, semaglutide under the brand name Wegovy was FDA approved for long-term weight loss.
Semaglutide is 94% similar to natural human glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1), which decreases blood sugar levels in a glucose-dependent manner by enhancing the secretion of insulin. GLP-1 acts as a physiological regulator of appetite and thereby reducing food intake by reducing feelings of hunger and increasing feelings of fullness/satiety.
Patients can choose to receive semaglutide for only 1 week as a trial for $90. Please be advised that semaglutide is dose-dependent upon the duration of use; meaning the longer you use it, the higher your dose will be and up to 2.4mg/week.

Patients who have a history or diagnosis of medullary thyroid cancer or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN II) are not eligible to receive semaglutide.
Semaglutide can be used in conjunction with HCG, phentermine, and or sermorelin for the best results.

Can you tell me the side effect of this?
What are the side effects? Do I start out at the lower dose and work up? When will it begin to work? Like other rx meds, will it take 6 weeks + to see a difference? Is this something that is life-long or as needed once target weight is achieved? How much are consultations?

Can I get the medication without the B-12 or anything else added to it.
Are these injections in sealed bottle or injectable pen ? Not jus random pre drawn up syringes like the lipo injections?

I took the shots for two months, lost a whopping 4# 🙁 Worst side effect was nausea. I hoped it would go away but it lasted the full 2 months. I didn’t go back for month three!
I am on week 16 and have lost 25 pounds. Be patient and give it time. Side effects for me included mild nausea, fatigue and constipation. As your body adjusts, the intensity of side effects subsides. As a woman in perimenopause, I started to gain weight and couldn’t lose. I have regained my confidence and feel great. I highly recommend the semaglutide to help you kickstart your weightloss journey.
This is a a kick-ass drug until you stop taking it. I lost 24 pounds in four months, but as soon as I stopped it, I gained every pound back, sadly! I have heard the same thing from many others who have taken it. Unfortunately, $450.00 a month became too unaffordable for me to be able to continue.
Does medical insurance cover these services?
